The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) on February 16, 2024, issued a notification regarding submission of filled-in proforma for notifying new NTMs.
The following has been stated: -
•The Standard Operating Procedures for non-tariff measures issued by the National Committee on Trade Facilitation (NCTF) and to enclose filled-in proforma for new NTMs: the further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries number S.O. 2666, dated October 16, 2014, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated October 17, 2014. The attached draft Notification has already been vetted by the Ministry of Legal Affairs.
•The comments, if any may please be forwarded to the undersigned within 15 days from the date of issuance of this letter. In the absence of receipt of any comments, the said NTM may be notified by publication in the Gazette of India for implementation.
