The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) on February 16, 2024, issued the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Amendment Regulations, 2024, to further amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Regulations, 2010.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In regulation 5, which states “Procedure for determination of petroleum and petroleum products pipeline transportation tariff”, the words “Petroleum and petroleum products pipeline transportation tariff’ up to the words “petroleum product pipeline route’ shall be numbered as sub-regulation (1).
• In regulation 5, which states “Procedure for determination of petroleum and petroleum products pipeline transportation tariff”, after the thirteenth proviso, the following shall be inserted, namely:
“(2) The petroleum and petroleum products pipeline transportation tariff shall be applicable from the date of commissioning of the pipeline or the date of authorization/ acceptance of authorization of the pipeline by the Board or notification of these Regulations, whichever is later.”
This notification will come into force from February 16, 2024.
