The Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL) on February 23, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Additional Exposure Margin on Securities under MWPL March 2024.
In continuation to the BSE Notice on Additional Exposure Margin on Securities under MWPL, ICCL shall levy an additional exposure margin @15% in the equity derivatives segment on securities in which the top 10 clients account for more than 20% of MWPL. However, for securities wherein an additional surveillance margin is applicable, the higher additional exposure margin as stated above or additional surveillance margin shall be levied. Scrips shall be identified under this framework based on 3 months of rolling data and shall be reviewed every month.
This Additional Exposure Margin for the securities mentioned in the Annexure shall be effective from March 01, 2023, immediately after the expiry of February 2024 contracts.
