The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on February 22, 2024, issued the Date of Establishment of amendment for certain Indian Standards.
The amendment of the following IS has been Established on February 16, 2024: -
• IS 2266 : 2019 Steel Wire Ropes for General Engineering Purpose — Specification (Fifth Revision) - Amendment No. 2 February 2024
• IS 3028 (Part 3) : 2018 Automotive Vehicles — Noise Emitted by Moving Vehicles — Specification and Method of Measurement Part 3 L5 Category - Amendment No. 1 February 2024
• IS 8471 : 2003 Acetylene Generators — Requirements (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 February 2024
• IS 17870 : 2022 Commercial Pressure Cooker — Specification - Amendment No. 1 February 2024
The standard shall be in force without the amendment till August 15 and May 15, 2024, respectively
