The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) on February 23, 2024, issued a corrigendum in a notification related to Age Norms and Other Qualitative Parameters with Respect to Vessels notified vide DGS Order 06 of 2023 dated February 24, 2023.
The DGS has extended the due date by six (6) months; for Existing Indian Flag Vessels, to comply with the qualitative norms with regards to vessels at Sr. No 2,3,4,8 & 10, as prescribed in (Column C, Annexure-1) DGS Order 06 of 2023, as amended. Accordingly, the revised due date for compliance with the aforementioned inspection shall be August 24, 2024.
