The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on January 12, 2024, issued a notification regarding Granting exemption to a person making inter-State taxable supplies of handicraft goods from the requirement to obtain registration.
Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes further amendments in the notification of the Commercial Taxes Department, Notification No. 5/2017- State Tax (Rate), dated June 29, 2017.
The following has been stated-
•In the said notification in the TABLE, after SNo. 6A and the entries relating thereto, 6AA Imitation zari thread or yarn made out of Metallised polyester film/plastic film S.No. and the entries 5605 shall be inserted
This notification shall come into force with effect from October 20, 2023.
