The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) on February 26, 2024, issued the Automobile Wheel Rim Component (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2024, to further amend the Automobile Wheel Rim Component (Quality Control) Amendment Order-II, 2023.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In paragraph 2, sub-paragraphs (ii) of Paragraph (3) shall be substituted as follows:
Automobile wheel rims are used in vehicles imported in India by vehicle manufacturers under the provisions of Rule 126 of Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989.
This notification will come into force from February 26, 2024.
