The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on February 27, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Requisition of Registration Details and Certificate of Registrations from Local Cable Operators (LCOs) under Rule 10A of the Cable Television Networks Rules, 1994.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The deadline to furnish the requisite details has been extended up to March 05, 2024.
• MSOs and IIlTS operators are again requested to ascertain that LCOs having interconnection agreements with them have furnished the requisite details in the Broadcast Seva Portal
• Aggrieved LCOs may file an appeal before the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at email [email protected] by furnishing a copy of the application made to the Registering Authority, order of refusal by the Registering Authority, and evidence of payment of fee within 30 days of the order of rejection.
