The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on February 27, 2024, issued a notification regarding the update to the Implementation of TLS 1.2 (only with strong ciphers) and TLS 1.3 Extranet & NOTIS API for the NSE Clearing - Capital Market, Commodity derivatives, Securities Lending & Borrowing Scheme, Currency Derivatives, emerge, Futures & Options
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that this is in partial modification to circulars NSE/MSD/60726 dated February 15, 2024, and NSE/MSD/60847 dated February 23, 2024, regarding the implementation of TLS 1.2 (only with strong ciphers) and TLS 1.3 for Extranet API and NOTIS API.
• It states that the effective date for TLS 1.2 (Weak & Strong Ciphers) & / or TLS 1.3 Shall be supported up to March 15, 2024 (EOD)
• It states that the effective date for only TLS 1.2 (Strong Ciphers) & / or TLS 1.3 shall be Mandatory from March 18, 2024
