The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on February 27, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Implementation of TLS 1.2 (only with strong ciphers) and TLS 1.3 for the NSE Clearing - Capital Market, Commodity derivatives, Securities Lending & Borrowing Scheme, Currency Derivatives, emerge, Futures & Options.
This has a reference to Circular no. NCL/CMPT/60267 dated January 15, 2024, regarding the Implementation of TLS 1.2 (only with strong ciphers) and TLS 1.3 wherein it was communicated that applications like connect2nse.com, connect2nsccl.com & ims.connect2nsccl.com would only support communication over TLS 1.2 (only with strong cipher) and/or TLS 1.3 with effect from February 29, 2024
The following has been stated namely: -
•It is requested to know that said an effective date has been extended and now applications (connect2nse.com, connect2nsccl.com & ims.connect2nsccl.com) would only support communication over TLS 1.2 (only with strong cipher) and/or TLS 1.3 with effect from March 18, 2024.
