The Spices Board on February 20, 2024, introduced an online payment gateway in ESS for real-time payment of analytical charges/ Health Certificate fees by exporters.
It is stated that the Online Payment Gateway System (OPGS) in ESS will be introduced with effect from March 01, 2024. All the exporters are requested to make a payment towards analytical charges and fees for Health Certificates through the payment gateway on real time basis. As per the new payment system, only on successful completion of payment, the application will be processed and all other modes of payment will be discontinued after the implementation of the online payment system.
Further, it is stated that the un-utilized part of advance payments made by the exporters towards analytical charges and fees for Health Certificates will be refunded to the parties to their bank account after implementation of the new system by following official formalities. Also outstanding amount towards analytical charges and /or Health Certificate fees which are due from the exporters, if any, need to be cleared by the concerned exporters on or before February 29, 2024.
