Commercial ComplianceThe Government of Kerala on January 31, 2024, issued the Foreign Liquor (4th Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Foreign Liquor Rules, 1953. 

The following amendments have been stated:

• In rule 26, for the last sentence, the following sentence shall be substituted, namely:— 

“The Foreign liquor bottles shall be affixed with QR code based e-labels containing the state emblem, barcode, hologram and the facsimile of the signature of the Excise Commissioner.”

They shall come into force at once.
