The Government of Kerala on February 12, 2024, revised the minimum rates of wages payable to the employees in the Cashew Industry sector.
The Dearness Allowance shall be given at the rate of 3 paise per 5 points in excess of 33850 points (1939=100) on the average of the Consumer Price Index of the last six months at Kollam District. The Dearness Allowance of 1st January to 30th June and 1st July to 31st December shall be reckoned based on the Consumer Price Index of every six months of April to September and October to March respectively.
