The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on February 28, 2024, issued the Transaction of Business of the Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Transaction of Business of the Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Rules, 2019.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In rule 50, which states, in Sub-rule (2), for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:
“(b) proposals for the appointment of Chief Secretary, Administrative Secretary (Home) and Director General of Police;”.
This notification will come into force from February 28, 2024.
