The Government of Kerala on January 23, 2024, issued the Kerala Unorganized Workers Social Security (Amendment) Scheme, 2024, to further amend the Kerala Unorganized Workers Social Security Scheme, 2015.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In paragraph 12 'the application for the said benefit is annexed to be submitted in Form No. 6 appended.” for the words and figure, the following words, numerals and symbols shall be substituted for the symbols, namely:
"The application for the said benefit shall be submitted in Form No. 6 annexed hereto three months before the date of retirement."
• In sub-paragraph (2) of clause 13, “Application for pension shall be submitted in Form No. 7.'' For the words, number and symbols, the following words, number and symbols shall be inserted, namely:
“The application for pension should be submitted to the concerned District Executive Officer in Form No. 7 three months before the date of retirement.”
This notification will come into force from January 30, 2024.
