The Government of Himachal Pradesh on February 15, 2024, issued the Himachal Pradesh Factories (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Factories Rules, 1950.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In Rule 5, which states “Grant of licence”, in sub-rule (2), the schedule shall be substituted as specified in the Table.
• In rule 8, which states “Transfer of licence”, in sub-rule (3), for the words “one hundred” the words “five hundred” shall be substituted.
• In rule 10, which states “Loss of licence”, for the words “one hundred” the words “five hundred” shall be substituted.
This notification will come into force from February 29, 2024.
