Industry Specific ComplianceThe Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) on January 03, 2024, notified regarding the Implementation Guidelines for the course “Social and Life Skills”.

The following has been stated:

• The member secretary will coordinate the allocation of registered students & modules to each faculty member such that any faculty member will be coordinating a batch of a single module.

• Every institute should offer Module 1 (Unnat Maharashtra Abhiyan) & Module 2 (National Service Scheme) to a minimum of 30 students each. Credits will be given in the Academic monitoring of MSBTE for offering these modules to students. The institute will be responsible for communicating with local bodies to complete these modules.

• As per the scheme, each module is of 30 Hrs, hence the activities should be arranged such that it can be completed in the stipulated time period. These 30 Hrs may be planned as per the need of activities in the module during non-instructional hours/days.
