The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) on February 28, 2024, issued the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the UT of Jammu & Kashmir and the UT of Ladakh (Terms and Conditions for Tariff Determination for grid-interactive Renewable Energy Sources) Regulations, 2024.

• Operation and Maintenance Expenses
• Rebate
• Late payment surcharge
These Regulations shall apply in all cases where tariff for a power generating station or a unit thereof commissioned during the Control Period and based on renewable energy sources is to be determined by the Commission.
Provided that in cases of Wind, Small Hydro projects, Biomass power based on the Rankine cycle, Biomass gasifier, Biomass gasifier, Biogas power projects, Biogas power projects, and Municipal Solid Waste, these Regulations shall apply subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
These Regulations shall come into force from February 28, 2024.
