The Government of Maharashtra on March 04, 2024, issued a circular regarding measures to be taken for the delivery of personal benefit schemes to eligible beneficiaries.
The following has been stated: -
•All beneficiaries of various personal benefit schemes should be linked to Aadhaar.
•Various instructions have been issued to the concerned departments some of them are as follows: -
The Aadhaar card linking process is to be completed by March 31, 2024.
The secretary of the concerned department must submit a guarantee that the process of linking with an Aadhaar card is 100 percent complete.
For the departments that will not complete the Aadhaar card linking process, the funds of those respective schemes will not be distributed from March 01, 2024, onwards.
