Labour Compliance The Government of Gujarat on March 02, 2024, issued a notification regarding declaring all employment in industries that generate electricity for the public as an essential Service

The following has been stated namely: -

• It has declared all employment in industries that generate electricity for the public or transmit or distribute electricity to the public, as well as engaged in trading of electrical power and co-ordination activities, to be an essential service for the period of six months from March 14, 2024.
