The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC) on February 27, 2024, issued the Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2024, to further amend the Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff) Regulations, 2021.
The following amendments have been stated:
• It has amended Regulation 34, which states “Principles for the adoption of Transfer Scheme for KSEB under Section 131 of the Act”, in sub-rule (iv):
(iv) The amounts required for the payment of both the principal and interest on the bonds issued to the Master Trust from time to time and which are serviced by KSEB Ltd. shall be reckoned for computation of Aggregate Revenue Requirement and for truing up of accounts of KSEB Ltd.
This notification will come into force from February 27, 2024.
