The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on March 06, 2024, issued the amendment to notification no. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) dated August 03, 2001, which states “fixing the tariff values of Crude and RBD Palm oil respectively and RBD Palmolein”
The following has been amended namely: -
• The Tariff Value of Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, etc. has been amended in Table-1
• The Tariff Value of Gold, in any form, Silver, in any form, etc. has been amended in Table-2
• The Tariff Value of Areca nuts has been amended in Table-3
This shall come into force on March 07, 2024.
