The Government of Maharashtra on March 07, 2024, issued a notification regarding the State Scheme for payment of subsidy for the construction of sheds for Automatic Reeling Machine / Multiend Reeling Machine / Wicking Units.
The following has been stated: -
•In order to promote the farmers as well as the silk entrepreneurs vide Government Decision dated June 02, 2023, in accordance with paragraph 7.7 E of the Integrated and Sustainable Textile Policy 2023-28, the government announced the State Scheme for payment of subsidy for construction of sheds for Automatic Reeling Machine / Multiend Reeling Machine / Wicking Unit.
•Considering the scope of job creation in the silk industry, in order to bring the silk industry to the center of the economy of the state and to promote it, the matter of giving subsidies to the entrepreneurs who set up automatic reeling machine / Multiend reeling machine / twisting unit in the silk industry for post-tissue processing to build sheds for the said machinery was under the consideration of the government.
•For the development of the silk industry in the state, to process the silk produced in the state and produce it into yarn, the grants are being approved to the eligible beneficiaries for the construction of sheds for automatic reeling machines / Multiend reeling machinery / spinning machinery.
•Beneficiary Eligibility is as follows: - Individual beneficiaries, Company, Co-operative Societies, Savings Groups, NGO.
•Beneficiary Selection Criteria are specified in the document below.
