The Ministry of Coal on March 08, 2024, issued the Coal Mines Pension (Amendment) Scheme, 2024 to further amend the Coal Mines Pension Scheme, 1998.
The following amendments have been stated:
• in paragraph 10, in sub-paragraph (1), for the words “three hundred fifty” the words “one thousand” shall be substituted;
• in paragraph 11, for the words “three hundred fifty” the words “one thousand” shall be substituted;
• in paragraph 12,-
o in sub-paragraph (3), for the words “two hundred and fifty” the words “one thousand” shall be substituted;
o in sub-paragraph (4), for the words “three hundred and twenty” the words “one thousand” shall be substituted.
