The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) on March 08, 2024, issued an amendment to the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy and Implementation Scheme 2022.
The following amendment has been stated:
• In section 6.3.1, which states “For Start-ups and incubators established in the state”, the following new provisions shall be inserted:
Assistance for participation in events and financial assistance will be provided to the startups of Madhya Pradesh as follows:
o 75 percent of the expenditure incurred for participation in startup-centric domestic events per event, maximum Rs. Reimbursement up to Rs 50,000.
o Reimbursement of 75 percent of the expenses incurred for participation in startup-centric international events (International/Overseas Events) outside the country, up to a maximum of Rs. 1,50,000.
o The financial assistance mentioned in the above points (a) and (b) can be provided to any startup of Madhya Pradesh for a maximum of one event in a financial year by the Managing Director, M.P. Can be provided after approval of Small Industries Corporation. But this assistance will not be given to a startup more than twice in its lifetime.
