The Government of Nagaland on December 06, 2023, issued corrigenda to the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023.
The following has been stated:
• In Section 23, which states “Application of provision of certain section to Town Council Area”, in Line 2, deletion of section 10 and insertion of "section 18" after "section 17".
• In Section 29, which states “Power of Government to remove a member”:
o In Clause (a) line 1, for "Section 27" read as "Section 28"
o In Clause (g) line 1, for "Section 581" read as "Section 601 "and "Section 58J" read as "Section 60J"
