The Cabinet on March 11, 2024, issued the Government of India (Allocation of Business) (Three Hundred and Seventy-fifth Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961.
This shall come into force on March 11, 2024.
The following has been stated namely:-
• In the Second Schedule, under the heading “Ministry of Jal Shakti (Jal Shakti Mantralaya)”, under the Subheading “Department of Water Resources, River Development, And Ganga
Rejuvenation (Jal Sansadhan, Nadi Vikas aur Ganga Sanrakshan Vibhag)”, after entry 7A, the following entry shall be inserted, namely: -
“7B. Glacial Studies.”
