The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on March 08, 2024, notified the Maximum sale price for Bacillus thuringiensis.
The Central Government, after taking into consideration the recommendation made by the committee referred to in sub-clause (2) of the said clause, hereby notify the maximum sale price of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt.) cotton seed packets (475 grams RIB seed packet containing minimum 5 percent and maximum 10 percent non Bt. Cotton seed) specified in the Table below for the financial year 2024-25 for the whole of India.
The following has been stated-
•Version of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt.) cotton hybrid the Maximum sale price for BG-I and BG-II is 635 and 864 respectively.
