The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 12, 2024, issued a circular regarding the Review of existing Non-Neat Frontend (NNF) products.
The following has been stated in this circular:
• Members developing Non-NEAT Frontend (NNF) software / application i.e. CTCL / IBT / STWT / DMA / Algo etc. through In-house vendors or procured software from Empanelled vendors are required to test the software in Mock/Simulation environment of the Exchange as applicable and register the same with the Exchange prior to deployment in production environment.
• The Software applications may be subjected to updates/changes over a period, for which members should register the newer/latest versions of NNF application by submitting relevant request to the Exchange as per captioned circular.
• Further it has been brought to the attention of Exchange by Empanelled vendors that members have not yet surrendered NNF applications registered with the Exchange even after the contracts have ended/licenses discontinued with the said vendors.
• Exchange strongly recommends all Trading members to review their existing NNF applications (CTCL/IBT / STWT/DMA/Algo etc.) registered with the Exchange and identify the software that are obsolete, not in use, software's running on old version number, support not available etc. as per their business requirement and consider surrendering their old NNF software/s which are not in use through the online portal of the Exchange.
