The Government of Karnataka on March 11, 2024, issued the Karnataka Repealing of Certain Enactments and Regional Laws Act, 2024 to repeal certain enactments and Regional Laws in force in the State of Karnataka.
This shall come into force on March 11, 2024.
The following acts have been repealed namely:-

• The Bombay Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1938
•Transfer of property and the Indian Registration (Bombay Amendment) Act, 1939
•Cutchi Memons Act, 1943
•Temple Entry Authorization Act 1947
•Vexatious Litigation Act, 1949
•Drugs (Control) Act, 1949
•Drugs (Control) Act, 1950
•The Mysore Transfer of Property (Extension to Agricultural Land) Act, 1951
•Atiyat Enquiries Act, 1952
•Drugs (Control) Act, 1952
•Hindu Places of Public worship (Entry Authorization) Act, 1956
