The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Maharashtra on February 08, 2024, issued an amendment to the order published by the Department of Food and Public Distribution on June 12, 2023.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Paragraph 2(i) has been substituted namely: -
“Wheat for a period up to 31st March 2024 with the following stock limits for all States and Union Territoties:
o Traders/Wholesalers : 500MT
o Retailers : 5 MT for each Retail outlet
o Big Chain Retailers : 5 MT for each outlet and 500 MT at all their depot
o Processors : 60% of monthly installed capacity multiplied by remaining months till April 2024”
