Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on March 12, 2024, issued a notification to appointed April 01, 2024, a date for certain provisions of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 shall come into force in all areas of the Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts, in the State of Uttarakhand, namely, —

• sections 38 to 43; 

• sections 45A to 45H; 

• sections 46 to 73; 

• sections 74 and 75; 

• sub-section (2) to (4) of section 76; and 

• sections 82 and 83
