Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Railways (MoR) on March 11, 2024, issued the Railways (Opening for Public Carriage of Passengers) Amendment Rules, 2024 to further amend the Railways (Opening for Public Carriage of Passengers) Rules, 2000.

The following has been amended namely: -

• Rule 22B which states “Opening of works specified under items (a) to (e) to proviso {other than items (f) and (g)} of sub-rule (3) of rule 3” has been inserted.
