Commercial ComplianceThe Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) on March 11, 2024, issued the Central Motor Vehicles (Sixth Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.

These Rules shall come into force on March 11, 2024.

The following has been amended namely: -

• In rule 138 (4) (d) which states that a “first-aid kit containing a tube of antiseptic cream containing 0.5% of Centrimide B.P. in a non-greasy base, sterilized dressings, sterilized elastic plaster, waterproof plaster, gauze and an elastic bandage for wounds and burns”, inserted words and figures “a tube of Feracrylum of 1% gel” after the words “a non-greasy base”.
