The Government of Karnataka on March 11, 2024, issued Karnataka Planning Authorities (Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Karnataka Planning Authority Rules 1965.
This shall come into force on March 11, 2024.
The following words have been amended namely:-
• In rule 37-A states that “Fee to be levied in certain cases of permission for change in the use or development of land or building”.
• In rule 37-A sub-rule 1 (c) (i), item (c), after the words “any other schemes of the Authority”, new words have been inserted “and also the infrastructure development works proposed by the respective Local Authorities related to urban amenities, as deemed fit by the Planning Authority in the interest of Planned Developments”.
