The Government of Punjab on March 11, 2024, notified the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grid Interactive Rooftop Solar Photo Voltaic Systems) (1st amendment) Regulations, 2024 further amend the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grid Interactive Rooftop Solar Photo Voltaic Systems) Regulations, 2021.
The following has been stated: -
•The Regulation 2(za) shall be substituted which specifies about the “Settlement Period”.
•In Regulation 3.3 the following provisos shall be inserted after the first proviso:
Provided further that the settlement period, as per regulation 2(za) of these regulations, shall also be applicable to the Rooftop Solar Photo Voltaic Systems already commissioned or for which applications have been received on or before the notification of PSERC (Grid Interactive Rooftop Solar Photo Voltaic Systems) (1st amendment) Regulations, 2024.
Provided also that the current settlement period of Rooftop Solar Photo Voltaic Systems set up by seasonal industrial consumers covered under these regulations and commissioned or for which applications have been received on or before the notification of PSERC (Grid Interactive Rooftop Solar Photo Voltaic Systems) (1st amendment) Regulations, 2024 which is to end on September 30, 2024, shall be extended to March 31, 2025.
These Regulations shall extend to the whole of the State of Punjab.
These Regulations shall come into force from March 11, 2024.
