The Government of Odisha on March 13, 2024, revised the minimum rates of wages who are employed in the employments as specified in the Schedule.
For information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said proposal shall be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of two months from the date of publication of this notification in the Odisha Gazette.
In addition to the said rates of wages, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) as admissible shall be declared every six months ie. on 1st April and 1st October of the year, linked to the All India Consumer Price Index Number for industrial workers published by the Labour Bureau, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India till next revision of minimum wages, or as per the pattern adopted by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India meant for 'C' Class cities (after next revision of minimum wages by the Central Government), as may be notified by the Labour Commissioner, Odisha.
