The Government of Maharashtra on March 14, 2024, implemented the Environmental Service Scheme (ESS).
The following has been stated:
• Highlights of the plan:
o To encourage the direct participation and actions of forest-related students in relation to the sustainable environment.
o To understand the relationship between forests and human beings and understand the importance of nurturing them in childhood,
o To promote environmental activities, promotion and conservation, exchange, nurture and nurture leadership qualities for environmental conservation.
o To implement a direct action programme on the establishment of natural resources at the local level with the participation of the local people.
