The Government of Andhra Pradesh on December 22, 2023, issued a notification regarding periodicity for issuance of Renewal of No Objection Certificates with regard to Non-Residential and Residential Buildings.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government has issued orders for periodicity of issuance of Occupancy/Renewal of Fire No Objection Certificate and for undertaking inspections of Multi Storied Buildings and Hazardous Premises towards issuance of No Objection Certificate and other Fire Safety Measures.
•After careful examination of the report submitted by the Committee, the Government has accepted the recommendations of the Committee in the reference 6th read above.
•Accordingly, the same was communicated to the Director General, State Disaster Response and Fire Services, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada. The Director General, State Disaster Response and Fire Services, Andhra Pradesh, was requested to furnish necessary proposals as per the recommendations of the Committee.
•The occupancy No Objection Certificate shall be issued for one (01) year Validity and the Renewal No Objection Certificate validity period shall be as per the periodicity given below in the document.
•This order will be effective for issuing only new fire No Objection Certificates (NOC). For already issued No Objection Certificates (NOC), prior to issuance of this order, the period as mentioned in the already issued No Objection Certificates (NOC) will be valid, and only on the expiry of the validity of a new application shall be obtained and provisions of this order will be applicable.
