The Traffic Department on March 14, 2024, notified regarding Customer Registration and extending Customer Role in EBS Portal.
The following has been stated:
• It has been informed that EBS will go live on April 01, 2024.
• The Port Users who have not registered in the EBS portal shall have to register immediately to obtain their User ID to gain access to the EBS Portal.
• The registered Port Users (having multiple roles like Importer, Exporter, Steamer Agent, Stevedores etc.) who have not extended their Customer role shall have to extend it to perform smooth transactions with the Port under different Customer type. The URL of the EBS portal is https://portebs.indianpcs.gov.in/ebs-portal/.
• It is requested to complete the registration/ customer role extension before March 22, 2024. Any request for Customer registration and to extend Customer role after March 22, 2024, shall not be entertained.
