Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Commission for Homeopathy on March 13, 2024, issued the National Commission for Homoeopathy (Minimum Essential Standards for Homoeopathic Colleges and Attached Hospitals) Regulations, 2024.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Objectives are as follows: 

1. To specify minimum essential standards

2. To ensure a fully functional medical institution and its teaching hospital

3. To provide for the requirement of staff (teaching and non-teaching); instruments; and equipment in the different Departments of the college and attached hospital and infrastructure for approval of competent authority for assessment for the purpose of grant or maintenance of permission and subsequent rating of medical institution for recognised course.

• The application in homoeopathic degree course, namely, Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery shall be considered up to one hundred seats

• This shall come into force on March 13, 2024.
