Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on March 15, 2024, issued the notification amending notification no.  11/2018- Customs, dated February 02, 2018, which states “To exempt specified goods from the whole of levy of Social Welfare Surcharge”

The following has been stated namely: -

• Against Sl. No 57, in column (2), after the item (iv), and before the words “of the Table”, the following item shall be inserted, namely: - 

“(v) column (3), sub-item (c) of item (2) of S. No. 526A;”.
