The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on March 16, 2024, issued a notification regarding the amendment to the Import Policy Condition for Duck Meat under Chapter 2 of ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule–I(Import Policy)
The following has been amended namely: -
•It states that the Import of Premium Duck Meat as per DAHD OM No. L-110109(3)/1/2016-Trade (E-2625) dated February 22, 2024, and under Department of Revenue Notification 13/2024-Customs dated March 06, 2024, for supply to 3-Star and above Operational Hotels as per Notification issued by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as amended shall be ‘Restricted’.
