The Government of Karnataka on March 12, 2024, notified the Draft Karnataka Department of School Education (Pre-University) (Academic, Registration, Administration and Grant-in-aid etc.,) Rules, 2024.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry for consideration after thirty days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
The following has been stated-
•Classification and Procedure for Establishment of Private PreUniversity Colleges are mentioned.
•Eligibility for establishing and maintaining a Private PreUniversity College are mentioned.
•Procedure for establishing a new Private Pre-University College under the Department of School Education are specified.
•Recognition and Admissions in Private Pre-University College are specified.
•Eligibility for admission to Ist Year and IInd Year PreUniversity Courses are also mentioned.
