The U. T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu on March 13, 2024, notified the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Panchayats (Application of Funds and Maintenance of Accounts) Rules – 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Recurring Expenditure and UT Administration among others.
•Rule 4 is about the Receipt of money.
•Rule 5 specifies the Power of purchase.
•Rule 6 is about the power to accord Administrative Approval and Technical Sanction.
They shall come into force with effect from March 13, 2024.
