The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on March 15, 2024, issued a notification regarding inviting public comments for the adoption of TSDSI transposed 3GPP standards from Release 13 to 17 (a total of 280 documents) into national standards by the Telecommunications Engineering Centre (TEC).
The following has been stated: -
•Telecom Standards Advisory Committee (TSAC) – a Standing apex committee under the chairmanship of DDG (Standardisation), TEC in its meeting held on March 15, 2024, has decided to initiate the process of adoption of TSDSI transposed 3GPP standards from Release 13 to 17 (total 280 documents) as national standards.
•All the stakeholders are requested to mail their comments by April 14, 2024, to [email protected] and [email protected]
•It is to be kept into consideration while offering the comments that only technical content or the amendments affecting the technical content of the standard shall be open for public comments, as per Para 6.2.4 of the Standardisation Guide.
