The Rubber Board on March 14, 2024, announced an incentive of five rupees per kilogram for the export of sheet rubber.
The Export Promotion Cell, operational from March 15 to June 30, 2024, assists Natural Rubber (NR) exporters with incentives and support. Despite international price advantages, exporters face challenges due to competitive pricing from other countries like Vietnam. Major consumers like China and Malaysia have long-term contracts, hindering Indian exports. The recent international price hike, driven by supply constraints and weather conditions, is expected to stabilize domestic rubber prices.
