The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on March 19, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Requirement of Integrated Veterinary Health Certificate for the Import of Milk and Milk Products into India.
The following has been notified namely: -
• This has a reference to https://dahd.nic.in/sites/default/filess/OM-3March2023forNotifyingNewNTMs-VHCforImportofMilkandMilkProducts.pdf, dated March 31, 2023, specifies Submission of filled in proforma for notifying new NTMs- Veterinary Health Certificate for import of Milk and Milk Products into India.
• It has been decided to extend this order till June 30, 2024.
• It also specifies that imported consignments of milk and milk products with a bill of lading/ insurance date, after June 30, 2024, will require an Integrated Veterinary Health Certificate for post-import clearance into India.
