FSSAI notified regarding the Requirement of Integrated Veterinary Health Certificate for the Import of Milk and Milk Products into India

Industry Specific ComplianceThe Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on March 19, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Requirement of Integrated Veterinary Health Certificate for the Import of Milk and Milk Products into India.

The following has been notified namely: -

• This has a reference to https://dahd.nic.in/sites/default/filess/OM-3March2023forNotifyingNewNTMs-VHCforImportofMilkandMilkProducts.pdf,  dated March 31, 2023, specifies Submission of filled in proforma for notifying new NTMs- Veterinary Health Certificate for import of Milk and Milk Products into India.

• It has been decided to extend this order till June 30, 2024.

• It also specifies that imported consignments of milk and milk products with a bill of lading/ insurance date, after June 30, 2024, will require an Integrated Veterinary Health Certificate for post-import clearance into India.
