The Government of Kerala on March 16, 2024, issued the Registration (Amendment) Rules (Kerala), 2024 to further amend the Registration Rules (Kerala), 1958.
The following amendment has been stated:
• After rule 30B, the following rule shall be added, namely:—
"30C. The registering officer shall not register any instrument that involves the transfer of land situated within a village, as notified from time to time, wherein a digital survey has been duly completed and the records have been finally modified under the provisions of Section 13 of the Survey and Boundary Act, 1961, unless the said instrument is accompanied by a digitally prepared pre-mutation sketch incorporating such details as may be specified from time to time."
They shall come into force at once.
