The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on March 18, 2024, issued the notification regarding the review of the cash balance of Accounts No. 1 and 2 as of March 31, 2024, and to transfer the unutilized amount into ESI Account No. 1 (Central)
The following has been stated namely: -
• The fixed monthly limit for salary, pension & benefit payments of March 2024 will not be transferred in March.
• The fund request for intermittent expenditure should be raised well before March 27, 2024, till 11.00 AM, so that no liabilities/expenditure be kept pending for payment.
• The unutilized fund in A/c No.2 should be remitted to ESI A/c No.1 (Central) by the end of working hours on March 27, 2024, so that the minimum balance can be maintained in every account.
• Fund request raised on March 28, 2024, will not be entertained unless approved by the competent authority.
• The fixed monthly limit for March 2024 will be remitted automatically on April 02, 2024.
